Residential Lighting Design
Installation Review, Aiming, and Commissioning
A lighting plan is not finished when the fixtures are installed. Adjustable fixtures arrive pointing straight down, dimming ranges sit at factory defaults, and scenes are empty.
Commissioning verifies the design against the room: locations checked, substitutions caught, every adjustable fixture aimed after dark, dimming limits set, scenes built with you present. The least expensive step to get right, the most expensive to skip.
The work
What we actually do.
Verify what was installed matches what was specified — substitutions arrive unannounced.
Aim every adjustable fixture after dark, on the surface it is meant to light.
Set dimming limits so nothing flickers or drops out at the low end.
Build the scenes with you, then walk the system so you can run it yourself.
How this differs
Not what your electrician or showroom provides.
This is the step nobody owns: the electrician is done, the builder is done, and the fixtures are still pointing at the floor.
